Pronunciation

A jump step. Fitted together, boxed. From fifth you spring up and bring back foot front to coupé position. Keep alternating feet. This step can be done many ways, with a turn or not, changing legs or not, in attitude, front or back. But the most popular is with the coupé front and one half a turn with each foot change traveling on diagonal. Emboîté with tombé to arabesque and pas de bourree.
