Pronunciation
A bravura turning step, on one spot, on one leg, with other leg held in second position at 90°. May include hopping as well as rélevé. You must have a good spot and keep your head at one level for this turn. This turn can be a real crowd pleaser. All boys must learn this step. It gives you lots of control. At the end when you pull in for the finish, all eyes are on you to see if you lose control. You could get some bravos. Grand Pirouette with rélevés.
