This is the full pointe position, on the tips of your toes. Requires a special pointe shoe. Pointe shoes are made with special material that makes standing on your toes possible. They are covered in beautiful pink or apricot satin. You must take care of your pointe shoes and let them dry out after wearing them so they will last longer. And they look prettier when you don't crinkle the ribbons when tying them. Pointe work can be started around 10 years old if you have had at least two years of ballet foundation.
