Pronunciation

This is one of the most beautiful connecting steps in ballet, and a very important step to master. Starts in fifth, right foot front. Spring up with a low developé with the front foot to effacé front, fall forward on front foot while lifting back leg to a nice stretched out low arabesque, then pas de bourreé to fifth. Can be done right or left and front or back, but by far the most popular is to 1st arabesque. Sissonne Tombé Pas de Bourreé, right and left, to Arabesque.
