Also called Tendu Jeté. A barre step. To disengage. A brush step. Starting in fifth or first, brush and pointe to any open position and close. A very important step. Teaches you to have pointed feet. This step is the basis for all brush steps like glissade and assemblé... a very important step. Dégagé front, 3 in first, then start back.
