Pronunciation

Jumping Echappé -- with beats out and in. Like a changement, then open and like a royal with the close, it changes feet. At first, it's a real challenge. This exercise should help speed up your training by improving your timing, coordination, strength, speed and feel for important steps. It also might change your way of looking at the step that will help you improve your technique. Do this beating step exercise after the barre, when your legs are warmed up. Do it facing the barre and pushing up, while holding the body straight. The pattern might be eight counts and rest eight counts, four times.
